So, this is now about ten thousand years after Ra's time. The big guy is Torlu, former Minion. The little guy is a young human mage, K'mael, who currently possesses (and is mildly possessed by) an ancient book of prophecy and magic. He follows the book's guidance to help safeguard Felora. K'mael rescued Torlu from enslavement, and now the Troll accompanies him on his adventures.

Aww man, I really liked the story of the previous chapter and the pages were a nice size, full of colour. Did you go back and draw the backstory after you'd done all of the rest?
Matt Knab
Yeah, the History of Daemon Ra was a side project that I had done during volumes 25-28 or so. I still want to go back and finish the last 10 pages or so! Give the b&w story a chance, I think you might enjoy it!
If you'd like to see more of my color work, each vol cover is color, I post one full-color page each week over on, and I have nearly all my color work on
The Letter M
I'm giving it a go but with the pages being smaller and the text being hand written it's not as easy going. :) I like your style a lot though. It's like classic anime.
Matt Knab
Sorry about that. These first few pages are old scans that I really need to redo. Shortly, the pages get larger where my new one inks start and, starting with today's update, I'm retyping the text so that will get easier too!
I'm really glad you are enjoying the art! I promise, it only gets better from here!
The Letter M
The text boxes would be cool, but other than that there's no need to re-do the pages. Sorry I was picky. I don't want to get you stuck in the trap of redrawing stuff. better to let the comic evolve as it goes on.
Matt Knab
You're not being picky, I agree with you on all counts!
One of these days, I'm just going to rescan the pages at a higher resolution to make them a bit easier on the eyes.
But yeah, I have a TON of pages to get inked and posted, so I can't worry about re-drawing stuff that came before.
Been meaning to read your comic ever since you subscribed to mine (thank you, btw!) and I really liked the colored pages! I am having the same struggle as the person above about illegible text though >.< Great art and I'm sure once I catch up the rest of the story will be just as awesome as the first part!
Matt Knab
You're welcome! I really like superhero books, and yours gives the genre an enjoyable twist.
I really hope you like reading Felora! I fix the size issue, and start typing the text so it will get easier to read. More color work is coming too! I'd love to know what you think of the story. You might also like my other book Twilight Trust
